Stratos IV Launch Campaign
Public communications, crowdfunding, and mission-critical livestream infrastructure for DARE’s Stratos IV student rocket.
Stratos IV combined a technically ambitious student-rocket program with a public campaign that had to communicate clearly to sponsors, supporters, and a worldwide audience.
I helped execute the crowdfunding campaign that raised more than €15,625, standardized visual and social-media guidelines, produced photo and video assets, and delivered communications obligations for major partners including Airbus, Arianespace, NLR, and Teijin.
For launch operations at INTA’s CEDEA facility in Moguer, Spain, I designed, tested, integrated, and deployed the video livestream workflow over the available site network. I then planned and directed public launch-attempt broadcasts, coordinating the show, live graphics, technical feeds, and sponsor-facing communication.
This role taught me that mission communications are an engineering system: bandwidth, signal paths, redundancy, timing, production decisions, external expectations, and safety-critical operations all interact. The public broadcast linked above is one visible output of a much larger operational chain.
The related Stratos IV crowdfunding page preserves the public campaign and its result.
