Control & Automation
Hands-on OMRON PLC programming, HMI, and electrical control-panel work from industrial training at ATMI and the mechatronics laboratories I supported as a teaching assistant.
Most of my portfolio is software and design. This page collects the hardware side: wiring, programming, and debugging the control systems that make machines move.
ATMI control panel
During a 7-week industrial traineeship at Politeknik Industri ATMI (May to July 2026), I worked on an electrical control panel alongside electrical safety, PCB assembly, CNC, welding, and assembly modules.
PLC and HMI programming
I program OMRON PLCs in CX-One using ladder diagrams, structured text, and function block diagrams, and build HMI screens for them. I use sequential function charts to plan a program before writing it. In November 2025 I earned the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) certificate at Assistant level.
Teaching-assistant laboratories
As a mechatronics teaching assistant at Swiss German University (September 2025 to September 2026), I facilitated PLC and microcontroller labs, and supported experiments with sensors, actuators, robotic arms, pneumatics, and control experiments. I also tutored Differential Equations and mentored teams at SGU Mechatronics Day 2025. The work meant grading assessments, helping students troubleshoot hardware, maintaining lab equipment, and preparing demonstrations and manuals.
